Workshop Kitchen Pantry to Palette
40.000 KWD
ᴋɪᴛᴄʜᴇɴ ᴘᴀɴᴛʀʏ ᴛᴏ ᴘᴀʟᴇᴛᴛᴇ
Explore colors extracted from everyday kitchen ingredients and waste such as tea leaves, sumac, onion skins, pomegranate skins and avocados seeds and skins allowing for a creative and playful experience.
Dye~Works guides participants through the process of naturally dyeing fabrics using kitchen waste. Together, we prepare the fabrics, extract color from organic materials, and experiment with how each ingredient leaves its own mark.
The workshop invites participants to slow down, work with their hands, and understand color as something living, imperfect, and rooted in nature 𓆸
